OpenChef is a reference project. The application was programmed by ATAILA Coder, our on-premises coding solution, and every recipe on this site was written by a language model running on our own servers. The photographs are not photographs: they were generated by a separate AI node dedicated to vision. Nothing here touched a public AI service, and no data left our hardware.
So treat the recipes as what they are: plausible-looking machine output. They are AI hallucinations. Do not cook from them until someone who genuinely knows how to cook has checked them. We removed the "we tested it" badges from this site for exactly that reason — nobody tested them.
The point of the site is to show what current AI models can actually deliver. We will publish the reference architecture behind it, because the interesting part is not the recipes — it is that a complete, running product came out of an idea and a private AI stack.
